Job Summary

 

The Account Executive - Canada will report to the North American Wholesale Manager and be responsible for managing wholesale client relations, business operations, and customer service tasks for Carhartt WIP Canada. The position requires extensive knowledge of the Canadian advanced contemporary retail market and experience working for an omnichannel apparel brand with prior experience in both D2C and B2B.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Manage day-to-day communication with Carhartt WIP’s Canadian wholesale clients

  • Create seasonal sales plans and budgets
  • Lead day-to-day sales season processes for Canadian B2B customers
  • Handle daily B2B customer service queries
  • Facilitate customs import process
  • Manage payment terms and process payments
  • Enter purchase and sales orders into internal ERP systems
  • Communicate with internal teams and act a conduit between HQ and clients
  • Offer insight on product best practices 

       

      Requirements / Qualifications

       

      • Specific knowledge of international freight and import processes and protocols

      • Above average financial acumen
      • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
      • Proven technical prowess navigating ERP and POS systems and Ecommerce platforms
      • Current list of Canadian retail contacts
      • Organized communication methods and methodologies
      • Experience creating sales plans and budgets
      • Merchandising experience for an established multi-category fashion brand
      • Track record for handling highly sensitive and confidential information
      • Previous warehousing and logistics experience
      • Knowledge of pop culture, music industry, and skateboarding a plus
