Barcelona: Cotch Off Sonar
Cotch International – the rough bass loving boys from South London, come to Barcelona to inject the Off Sonar festival some of their soulful vibrant rhythms. For one night only, Cotch take over the Catalan hotspot club LAUT to link up some of the most exciting new talents from both UK and Spanish scenes. From Afrobeat, rap and grime to reggaeton and Baile Funk, they’ve got you covered. On the bill are the Nottingham duo Young T & Bugsey who will play their Barcelona debut show. Their hip hop sounds like a hybrid of Rae Sremmurd and J Hus and are loaded with earworm hooks. Also, Moroccan-Spanish bad-boy and central figure of the new wave of Spanish rap and reggaeton, Khaled will play, introducing a banging form of boundary-breaking music mix that flits from Flamenco to North African sounds. Finally, for local party business Sao Paulo born, Barcelona raised MC Buseta comes around to present his freaky take on Baile Funk.
After the live shows, the party goes on with Lowprofile of the ͏Lo͏w͏Ke͏y͏Mo͏v͏e͏s family alongside beats queen Awwz, Cotch Soundsystem and some very special surprise guests.
