Shot in Paris by Martin Mougeot, this week’s product edit represents the facet of the S/S22 collection with the greatest military influence. The execution, however, is subtle: a ripstop that carries a slightly coated, waxy feel appears in muted colors throughout. Pop-color backings and angular detailing in styles like the S/S Wynton Shirt offer a sense of precision, while calling to mind the unexpected discovery of safety orange inside a classic bomber jacket. Elsewhere, styles like the Hewitt Vest and Short are constructed in mechanical stretch ripstop, and feature multiple pockets throughout accented with curved zip detailing. The selection is complemented by Sol sweats and t-shirts in a treatment that leaves them with a saturated yet sun-faded appearance.
