Converse CONS x Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2024
For Spring/Summer 2024, Converse CONS and Carhartt WIP continue their ongoing partnership with two skate performance designs, drawing on both brands’ roots in skateboarding.
Comprising the One Star Academy Pro and the Chuck Taylor All Star Pro, the collaboration is an homage to 90s skate culture, and reimagines two iconic Converse CONS silhouettes using core Carhartt WIP colors and detailing. Both styles feature tri-panel uppers in tonal hues and are constructed from suede. Higher foxing offers durability, while lateral triple stitching nods to Carhartt WIP’s archetypal jackets and work pants. The items are accented with co-branded logos on the tongue and CX foam sock liner.
The Chuck Taylor All Star Pro Hi is a signature fit designed for skateboarding, and features lock-in elastic tongue straps, cushioning CX foam sock liners, and a CONS Traction Rubber outsole for grip, board feel, and flick support. The colorway is composed of Starfish, Tofu, and Dark Earth hues.
The One Star Academy Pro nods to its predecessor The Academy with a classic star and two-stripe logo, yet offers improved board-feel and impact absorption, thanks to its CX foam cushioning. Its upper features suede panels in shades of Dark Earth, Starfish, and Egret.
Launched in 2017, the Converse CONS x Carhartt WIP partnership merges functionality and performance with design sensibilities unique to both brands, seeing silhouettes such as the Chuck 70, One Star, and Fastbreak Pro reworked in new, elevated iterations.
The accompanying campaign for this collaboration was shot in Barcelona, Spain, by photographer Adrian Rios, featuring riders from the Carhartt WIP skate team. The Converse CONS x Carhartt WIP collection is now available at our online shop, and in-store at Carhartt WIP New York and Los Angeles on June 7th.
Join us on June 6, 2024 at Carhartt WIP Store Los Angeles for the launch of the collaboration with beverages, music and more.
