Durable Denim, Loose Fits
Shot by photographer Matt Price and videographer Trevor Owens, the Carhartt WIP skate team are captured coasting through the streets of Los Angeles wearing items from S/S23.
The editorial focuses on the Brandon and Landon pant styles, which are both constructed from heavyweight, durable denim. While the Brandon Pant has a loose straight fit with a low rise, the Landon Pant has a loose tapered fit, meaning it has a roomy upper leg which tapers below the knee. Also featured in the selection are different iterations of the two styles, including the utilitarian Brandon SK Pant and summer-skewing Landon Short. Rounding out the edit are a series of graphic t-shirts featuring a heart print nodding to the brand’s heritage.
