S/S22: La Calma
Carhartt WIP’s latest editorial spotlights its Spring/Summer 2022 women’s collection, in an editorial titled “La Calma.” Shot in a villa in the Italian countryside, soft lighting accents the pastel shades of this season’s collection, as the images by Dali Geralle offer a quiet, contemplative take on summertime boredom.
The garments featured are drawn from various facets of this season’s women’s collection, including classic pieces like the Women’s Bib Overall in both canvas and hickory stripe. These are complemented by items in the brand’s ‘faded’ treatment, which uses a unique pigment dye process to leave garments looking washed out yet saturated. In addition, cotton jersey styles, such as striped t-shirts and the brand’s ever-present Carhartt Sweatshirt, appear in new seasonal colors.
